I dont smoke but I just saw a commercial about electronic cigarrettes and they have no tar or nicotine or chemicals. I thought cigarrette addiction was brain receptors craving nicotine. If these electronic cigarrettes have no nicotine how does it give people their fix?

Perhaps you misheard it? ECs do contain nicotine.

it really just gives them the illusion of smoking…. my mom did the same to me to get me off from my caffeine/pop addiction she started buying no caffeine pop and didnt tell me but I had the illusion of having caffeine intake and didnt have the headaches or anything til she told me… she did this for 2 months before she told me… its pretty much like tricking the brain addictions more often that not are just mental
They contain nicotine and have ones that contain a very potent dosage. Did you really think people just like smoking on stuff and seeing smoke? Because they actually do as well.

You must have misheard. What happens is that they produce a vapour of almost 100% nicotine, so that you get your nicotine fix, without taking in any dangerous chemicals.
