Has anyone heard of a smokeless cigarette?

Question by tarochka: Has anyone heard of a smokeless cigarette?
Someone I work with has a friend who smokes these fake looking
plastic “cigarettes”. He said it’s like a vaporizer filled with liquid nicotine.

Does anyone know what they are or where to get them?
It sounds like they’d be safer than regular cigarettes.
Do you think?

No but a teacher I had uses it. He was a heavy smoker, but the minute he bought it it seemed to work excellently. We would go to class and would see him puffing on water vapor lol. At least he was getting the nicotine. His health improved greatly. It seems that it is a great alternative to smoking. Much healthier for your lungs. It comes in different flavors too I believe. Hope it all works out :)

Q&A: Has anyone tried green smoke electronic cigarettes?

Question by droppeds10az: Has anyone tried green smoke electronic cigarettes?
Been trying to cut back on regular cigarettes so I thought these e-cigs were cool when my buddy ordered one. I quickly made a purchase (not green smoke) but was not happy with the results. I have heard good things about green smoke electronic cigarettes but thought I would ask some more opinions before again taking the plunge. So, for those of you who have smoked green smoke, what is your experience?

Best answer:

Answer by Jane
I just ordered my starter pack yesterday!!! I cannot wait! I researched other companies but the green smoke were the only ones that seem the safest. No carcinogens, no tar, no cancer causing agents. Also people have stated over and over that they are the closest to the real thing…when it comes to the flavor and feel. Between my husband and I (he smokes two packs a day and I smoke about a 1/2) we spend over 500 a month! With these we will be spending a little over a 100!! What a huge difference. Not only will we be saving a crap load of money…we no longer will smell like a dirty ashtray, not have to worry about getting cancer…that is a huge plus. Good luck and I hope you will enjoy your care-free cigarettes!!

Great Advice For Anyone Looking To Quit Smoking

Tobacco freedom is an aspiration of most smokers, and yet also something that smokers attempt to gain and fail at repeatedly. If you smoke and have struggled in the past with putting them down for good, read on. The following paragraphs contain proven points from those who have succeeded.

Don’t Go Cold Turkey
Do not quit cold turkey. It can be tempting to throw out your cigarettes and say, “I quit!” But cold turkey is not the way you want to go. Studies show that over ninety percent of people who try to quit smoking with no medication or therapy end up relapsing. The reason for this is because nicotine is addictive and your brain craves it. Without it, nicotine withdrawal symptoms set in.

Try replacement therapy to quit smoking. Pick an activity as simple as chewing gum, drinking tea, or eating a piece of candy. Every time you get a craving, or at times when you would normally go out and have a smoke, take part in your new activity instead. If you keep it up long enough, you could replace the pattern in your head.

Make sure you treat yourself as if you are a smoking addict. Never let yourself take a single puff. This one puff may seem harmless, but it can actually reignite your inner need for cigarettes. No matter how long you have remained smoke free, you should keep yourself from ever taking “just” a casual puff.

Find someone else who wants to quit when you are trying to give up smoking. You can be a source of support and encouragement to one another as you go through this together. Share your successes and turn to one another when the going gets tough. Having a buddy can help you to stick with your decision to quit smoking.

You should pick your method, or methods of quitting. Some people may only be able to use the “cold turkey” method, meaning cutting their nicotine use entirely without tapering. However, this can make some people exceptionally cranky and exacerbate withdrawal. Gums, lozenges and other quitting cessation products exist to make the first week easier to handle.

Electronic Cigarette

Replace your pack of cigarettes with an electronic cigarette. Many former smokers have found success with these devices, which work by vaporizing a liquid that contains nicotine. When the user exhales, the cloud looks just like smoke, but it’s actually vapor. Using one of these devices can make it much easier to quit smoking, since it simulates the act so effectively.

My old tennis coach used one. He said that no smell comes out and that it’s just water vapor. But it does contain a little amount of nicotine.

Better that then real cigarettes because you are not only hurting yourself but you are hurting everyone around you.
Just quit smoking if you do and get hooked on tennis.
